Activities for Youngsters    
Regular Activities :
Weekly programmes, organised at different activity centres, include sports, field visits, exposure to real life situations, games and activities to enhance the different facets of the intellect, salesmanship training, group discussions, self-study etc. More than three hundred girls and boys regularly participate in these activities.
 
Activities for Vacations :    

During Diwali and Summer vacations, different residential and non-residential camps are organised for the youngsters.

  • Training Camps for Teachers and Organisers.
  • Three day introductory camps to understand Philosophy of Jnana Prabodhini and its educational work.
  • Get-togethers of parents' in the different places and schools.
  • Participation of nearly 3500 elders so far.
Å Activities for Adults
Activities for Volunteers    
  • Approximately 70-75 youth volunteers have taken the responsibility to organise these programmes. Different camps and trips are also organised for more than 400 organisers to enhance their skills, abilities and motivation.
Å  Youth Camps & Study Tours
Various programmes on the occassion of 'Tapa-purti'
(completion of 12 years)

Kumar Melave and Sammelan (Get-togethers and Gatherings) : 'Kumar Melave' of about 4 to 6 hours were arranged in 29 places. Nearly 5000 students participated in these programmes. Kumar Sammelan were arranged for the entire day in Borivali, Dombivali, Solapur and Latur. 1500 students participated in these gatherings. These get-togethers and gatherings were packed with various programmes such as scientific experiments, crafts, activities, intellectual games, exhibitions, group discussions, interviews of courageous students and eminent personalities, workshops on drawing, music, stories, poems and slideshows, etc. These programmes were highly successful and promising due to the systematic and organised efforts and enthusiasm of 500 local volunteers.

 

Kumar Mahotsav : 'Kumar Mahotsav' was arranged on the 5th and 6th Feb. 2005. It was based on subjects like-arts, sports, literature and science. Around 1700 students attended this programme from 57 towns of Maharashtra and Goa. 75 distinguished personalities were specially invited for the interaction with students.
'Srujanala Pankh Nave' Competition : In the stage-presentation competition 'Srunjanala Pankh Nave', students prepared and performed using the material from Chhatra Prabodhan Magazines. More than 2500 students from 107 schools participated in it.
North East Study and Friendship Tour : Between April 2 and May 18, 2005, 190 young students from different parts of Maharashtra visited the seven North Eastern states. These participants were divided into 9 groups. All these students lived with the native people and arranged friendship camps for the native children. The troops returned back with an enriched vision and disturbed minds after establishing the bond of friendship with the people and volunteers of the North East.
Tapa-purti Publications : With the purpose of making the material of Chhatra Prabodhan available for a longer period, 12 books incorporating the part of previous issues have been published. A special issue was also published.
