Chhatra Prabodhan : magazine A magazine started in 1992 with a membership of just 500 readers, now reaches 4000 homes regularly & 40,000 of the Diwali issues were booked since the last three years. Many new subjects are introduced and new writers contribute to the magazine every year. Chhatra Prabodhan : Publications So far, around 25 books covering the writing from Chhatra Prabodhan issues and 22 other looks have been published. These publications are circulated through Sahitya Sammelans and book-exhibitions. This year, further edition of 9 books were published. Chhatra Prabodhan : Activities, movement and expansion Around 2500 students participated in the various camps, workshops and tours organised during the Diwali and summer vacation. This year, two camps for introduction to rural life and culture, two mountaineering treks, two bicycle tours and one camp for enhancement of leadership qualities were conducted. Similarly 2 study tours and 2 workshops for youth-study were organised and 210 youngsters participated in these activities. Chhatra Prabodhan : Human Resources A group of 12 people looks after the administrative and editorial responsibilities at the Pune office of Chhatra Prabodhan. Those who were the readers of Chhatra Prabodhan in their school days, out of them six youth after their graduation worked as a full-time volunteer in various dept. of Jnana Prabodhini. Two of them have continued this year too. A group of 40 adults and 25 youngsters from Maharashtra & Goa regularly take the responsibility and devote two to eight hours of their time per week for Chhatra Prabodhan. Around 250 adult members and 50 youngsters work and contribute in these activities carried out from time to time. All these members work voluntarily. Chhatra Prabodhan : Finance Initially, for few years this project suffered a loss but with the continuous financial aid from many wel-wishers we have now become self-reliant since past 8 years. Last year our turnover was 30 lakhs. Our computer setup is being upgraded step-by step; Chhatra Prabodhan : Targets set for the next 5 years. |

| 3) | To publish issues in Hindi and regional languages of neighbouring states as well as for the rural youngsters on an experimental basis. |

| 5) | To introduce different programmes and follow up activities for college students. |
| 6) | To see that the magazine and other activities reach 200 towns & cities in Maharashtra and 20 cities outside Maharashtra state. |
